We welcome table bookings and area reservations during the week.

We have booths, sofas and tables that seat 2 to 20 people, or for larger groups up to 80 we can reserve an area of the pub for you.

The Blue Lion is available for private hire at weekends and on bank holidays and is the perfect venue for any group size up to 120 people.  To read what our previous party guests have to say about us please click here.

We have a 1am licence and our central location means it's easy for your guests to get here and home again (walking distance to Russell Square, Chancery Lane, Farringdon and King's Cross and with various night bus routes close by). 

We have a decent in-house sound system and space for dancing with plenty of seating.  

There is no hire fee for the pub, only a reasonable minimum spend.  Please send us a message to check availability and ask for our party buffet menus.
